# Getting access to Replit Mentors

Is there a way that us mere - mortal users can get access to Replit mentorship as part of an extension of the plans, or some kind of gamified system that helps power users gain credits that can be converted into “minutes with mentors”. The idea being that they can use the time to ask mentors important and high value questions to help on the build-quest…

Welcome Darrell. Different take: I wouldn’t chase mentor access. Mentor time doesn’t scale and you’d be rationing it. AI can already answer most high-value questions — but only if you put in the time to use it well.
The real skill is reducing hallucination and drift so you get factual answers. A few things that work:
- Feed it your real context instead of asking abstractly
- Make it flag what it’s unsure about
- Break big asks into small, verifiable steps
- Check anything important against the actual source
- Figure out the setup that fits how you work — the right model, prompt style, and settings for your kind of tasks
Build that habit and you’ve got an unlimited mentor instead of a metered one.
